What your proof reveals
Verifying your own history tells you nothing about anyone else's.
When you verify a cycle, the proof contains sibling hashes, not other people's records.
- A hash reveals nothing about the data behind it.
- The users tree is sorted by hash, so your position in it says nothing about you, and nobody else's position says anything about them.
- Your proof only ever contains your own leaves. The proof endpoint cannot be asked about anyone else.
The only thing a proof gives away is its length, which hints at how many accounts were active in that cycle, to within a factor of two.
